Science Talent Search

Science Talent Search (STS) runs every year with the aim to stimulate an ongoing interest in the study of sciences by:

  • encouraging independent self-motivated project work amongst students of science;
  • giving students the opportunity to communicate their achievements to a wider audience.

Each year several students take part in STS submitting a range of entries that cover creative writing, experimental design and posters. Congratulations to the following students for their efforts in this year’s STS:

  • Jui (Year 8) for her creative writing entry titled “What they’ve become”
  • Zoe and Georgia (Year 8) for receiving a certificate of merit for their poster “Analysing the impact of climate change on species survival”
  • Alina and Sanika (Year 10) for receiving a certificate of merit for their experimental research “Efficiency of cleaning products on the prevention of bacteria”
  • Angel and Kashvi (Year 10) for receiving a certificate of distinction for their poster “Indigenous practices for species survival”.

Congratulations, again, to the entrants for all their efforts to produce and submit an excellent standard of work.
