Sport - Table Tennis

Table tennis history was made at CGSAV table tennis on 15 October at MSAC, Albert Park with Sacred Heart Girls’ College winning all three competitions; Junior, Intermediate and Senior. Across the day our teams played a total of 19 matches and won 18. This is the first time we have won all three age groups of a sport on the same day since badminton in 2011.

The results for CGSAV table tennis were:

Juniors
Played 7 matches, won 7 matches including Grand Final against Catholic Ladies College, Eltham
Georgia (Year 8) won Grand Final MVP
Alissa (Year 8) won SHGC MVP

Intermediates
Played 6 matches won 6 matches including Grand Final against Killester College, Springvale
Victoria (Year 10) won Grand Final MVP
Elena (Year 10) won SHGC MVP

Seniors
Played 6 matches won 5 matches including Grand Final against Mater Christi College, Belgrave
Alice and Leila (Year 11) both won SHGC MVP

This is the third consecutive year SHGC Juniors and Intermediates have won CGSAV table tennis, a 'three-peat' double!
