Sacred Heart Trivia Night

Oh what a night!

Our 2024 Sacred Heart Trivia Night saw around 200 members of our community gathered in Kendell Hall to participate in a fierce battle of the minds. The night was full of interesting questions, fun games and much laughter and in the end, it was one of our teacher tables who came out victorious.

The Trivia Night was to raise money for the missionary work of the RNDM Sisters in the Philippines and we managed to raise an amazing $13,375. This money will go specifically towards covering the maintenance and living costs for the 60 Indigenous Filipino girls who live in the RNDM dormitory in Kulaman. By living in the dormitory, these girls have access to education, a crucial step in breaking the cycle of poverty. The Kulaman girls also manage a small eco-friendly farm next to the dormitory which they aim to expand and enhance. Our support could help make that vision a reality. We will also assist the Kuya Centre for street children in Manila, a home for street boys.
