Last Friday, we held our final Book Club meeting for the year. Each cycle, we welcome up to 35 students who gather in the Library at lunchtime. The club is led by our dedicated Year 11 Student Coordinators, Isabella and Mia, with support from Mrs Bird. Throughout the year, students have engaged in a wide range of literature activities, book discussions, and book talks. The Book Club participants range in age from Year 7 to Year 11, fostering a diverse environment where different perspectives on books are shared. This variety encourages the exchange of ideas, with student voices shining through in every meeting, occasionally interrupted by Mrs Bird's enthusiastic contributions! The club has become a vibrant space for students to connect over their love of literature and develop their reading interests.
As we wrap up the year, we’re already looking forward to next year’s Book Club, where we will continue to celebrate all things books. We hope to welcome even more students, expand our literary discussions, and explore new books and ideas together. We can’t wait to dive back into the world of books with our passionate, evolving and developing readers next year!
