We are already more than halfway through Term 1, and what an exciting term it has been!
Our Year 7 students kicked off the year with an intensive IT Bootcamp, equipping them with the essential skills to navigate their new laptops with confidence. On Tuesday 11 February, we proudly celebrated the achievements of our Class of 2024 at the High Achievers Assembly. A huge congratulations to all our high-achieving students, especially our College Dux, Chloe Boucherat. Year 9 students have been fully engaged in the inspiring STRIVE program, while our Year 10 students have been exploring future career pathways through the insightful Morrisby Interviews.
Throughout the term, students have participated in various excursions, enriching their classroom learning with real-world experiences. Additionally, our cultural exchange program has been a fantastic success, as we welcomed students from Indonesia and France to our college. This has provided an incredible opportunity for both our students and our international guests to gain a deeper understanding of different cultures and life in Australia.
Looking ahead, our Year 7 and Year 9 students will be completing the NAPLAN assessments from Wednesday 12 March to Monday 17 March. These assessments allow students to demonstrate the skills they have developed through the school curriculum. NAPLAN test days should be approached as a routine part of the school calendar. A reminder for all students to bring a fully charged laptop and headphones each day for the tests.
Finally, Learning Conversations will take place on Wednesday 26 March and Tuesday 1 April. Further details will be available on PAM this week.
