On Tuesday 4 March, 17 students represented Sacred Heart in the CGSAV Tennis at a brand new venue, Glen Waverley Sports Hub.  All students were good sports, participating admirably. The three teams made the semi-finals with the Intermediate team winning the championship, Juniors finishing 3rd and Seniors finishing 4th. Congratulations to all that competed with a special mention to Beth and Antonia (Year 9) going undefeated all day without a game being taken from them.

AFL Umpiring

15 lucky of our lucky students have been participating in AFL Umpiring training run by Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) on Tuesday afternoons for the last few weeks with a final exciting session yet to come. The girls are learning goal, field and boundary umpiring skills. The program culminates in umpiring a halftime Auskick session at the MCG once the footy season starts. We hope to inspire girls into umpiring AFL with a possible career pathway.
