Sacred Heart Shines at CGSAV Division 2 Swimming Championships!
On Wednesday 19 March, the Sacred Heart Swimming Team delivered an outstanding performance at the CGSAV Division 2 Swimming Championships, securing an impressive 2nd place overall out of nine schools.
Our swimmers gave it their all, with the Juniors placing 4th, Intermediates 2nd and Seniors 5th. A huge congratulations to the nine students who won their races and to our incredible Intermediate team for taking victory in both of their relays!
A special shoutout to Madeleine (Year 8), who went above and beyond by competing in every event possible for her age group - winning two of them! A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated coach, Ava Close, for her commitment during every early morning and after-school training session. We’re also incredibly grateful to Ms Di Maria, Ms Harvey and Ashlee Quinn for their support leading up to and on the day of the competition.
Well done to all our swimmers—we are so proud of you!

AFL Umpiring
Our students recently completed their VAFA Umpiring Training, and last week, four of them had the incredible opportunity to officiate Auskick games during halftime of the North Melbourne v Melbourne match at Marvel Stadium. Amelia, Summer, Liliana and Cassandra looked highly professional and did an outstanding job ensuring the games ran smoothly, allowing the young players to enjoy a great experience.
