Always striving upwards

Acting Principal Message

Our College assembly last Thursday was a wonderful celebration of student life and achievements across Term 1. We were very fortunate to welcome members of the RNDM Congregational Leadership Team as our special guest presenters on the day. Sisters Jo Kane, Lucy Wambui and Joicy Madassery shared their reflections of Hope in Action through stories of the work of the sisters from all over the globe. It was a powerful reminder of how closely connected we all are and how our support as a College, for which they are truly appreciative, can truly make a difference.

We also heard some very inspirational words from our College Captains, Sara and Teneika, who also reflected on our College theme Hope in Action, and our International Women’s Day celebrations. They posed a number of challenges to all students regarding how everyone can make a difference to the world through their actions, be they big or small. Whilst also reminding them all of the inner strength they all possess,“… have the courage to be outspoken, be ambitious, chase your calling, pursue your idea of success, and never, ever let anyone tell you ‘You can’t’ because you most definitely can.”
